One month ago, I accidentally deleted half the files from my computer.
I frantically searched through my remaining files and compared them with my backup disk, and thought I made it out unscathed.
Then last week, I discovered that the source files for my website were gone.
Although it was discouraging, I got to work on a new site using WordPress.com, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Instead of a static website floating around in the interwebs, WordPress lets me provide continuous content while engaging with my awesome followers.
I have several ideas to keep the blog portion fresh, such as character profiles and excerpts from “The Day I Wore Purple,” new writing tips, scene breakdowns from movies and TV shows, interviews with other storytellers, personal anecdotes about my life as a struggling author, and snippets from books that I like.
I know it’s impossible to trust that this site will have fresh, exciting content until I actually post it… so in the meantime, click on the tabs at the top of this page to learn more about my work.
I have one request: please leave feedback! Let me know what works. Let me know what sucks. Do you have suggestions for a blog post? Tell me! Do you have questions about writing that I didn’t cover in my 7 Tips books? Ask me! If you read my stories on Wattpad and loved or hated them, click on “novels” at the top and leave a comment.
Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy my site!
